Hi Steve,

Thanks again for sharing this information with us, for all my career as Java Developer I never came across any platform like Liferay. It made my life simply and it works perfectly.
I have been preaching Liferay from it's first release, this is indeed Web 2.0. I worked on IBM Portal and it is a nightmare to deploy JSR168 on it, worked with Vignette CMS I can't compare any of them to Liferay CMS. It always comes on top of all.
Hope to roll out Liferay in South Africa for 2010 World Cup and will remain as Ambassador of Liferay here in Mzansi (South Africa).

Steve, thanks for the kind comments about Liferay Portal. We are committed to being the leading independent open source software provider without a stack agenda like Oracle, IBM, and Microsoft. We rely on feedback from community members like you to make our software the best on the market, so thanks again for investing your energy into Liferay.

SharePoint can indeed be too complex and costly to manage, especially for a small company. Another sharepoint alternative you might want to look at is HyperOffice. It is delivered under the SaaS model, and is ideal for smaller companies arround the 100 mark.
