		<description>Glenn,&lt;br&gt;Thanks for the information and I did speak to my reseller.  However, I stand by my review.  The access point should come with some documentation.  If nothing else, it should tell someone how to install the ceiling mount.  Various resellers I checked with stated it comes with documentation.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The first unit did not provide link on the Ethernet line to the switch after power was supplied for over 10 minutes.  Even if I had a controller, what was it going to do without seeing link?&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The second unit had parts rattling around inside of it.  That is unacceptable and meets the definition of DOA.</description>

The 1800 &amp; 1840 are not autonomous APs - they are lightweight APs that need a controller or appliance to function.
